The best accessories for a road trip this summer

With the pandemic that has come to change our lives, it is very likely that your next vacation will be taken on the roads of Quebec this summer. Your vehicle may already have features that make long trips easier, but it probably doesn't have everything you need when you're on the road for a long time.

Here are some things that will make your life easier on your next road trip.

1 - Luggage compartment

If you are used to hitting the road on vacation in your vehicle in the summer but have not yet purchased these roof-mounted luggage compartments, you should maybe take the time to do it. These are spacious and allow you to enjoy a less loaded vehicle inside. Plus, if you have a bit of shopping to do along the way, you'll take advantage of the extra space to be able to do so.

2 - A camera on the dashboard

The practice of recording what is happening on the road in front of us while we are on the move is increasingly popular. It captures everything, which protects you in the event of a crash with irrefutable evidence, but it also allows you to keep some travel memories.

3 - USB chargers

If you're traveling with friends or with your kids, there's a good chance you'll need additional USB ports for charging. There are plenty of solutions that can address this problem, including items that can plug into the cigarette lighter to provide additional outlets.

4 - Portable vacuum cleaner

While some vans offer a built-in vacuum for quick cleaning when you're on the go, no SUV or car gives you that option. However, the market offers you several compact portable devices that will prove very useful during your family vacation.

5 - Pillows

If you have long hours of driving to do, your passengers will, at one point or another, want to take a nap. Consider bringing small pillows designed for the occasion. In fact, the important thing when you hit the road is to think of everything you might need to make sure you don't miss a thing. And even then, we will find ourselves running out of something. Be sure to put it on your to-do list for the next trip.
