Mazda sales going full steam ahead in 2021

Mazda vehicle sales have been on a roll so far this year with a total of 34,575 vehicles sold throughout the first half of 2021, an increase of 53.1% sales compared to the first half of 2020. Moreover, Mazda sales in the last quarter outpaced the industry with an increase of 72.2% compared to the same period in 2020.
Multiple models can be credited for Mazda’s success. Mazda sport utility vehicles increased an average of 61% in sales over the last six months with the Mazda CX-9 doubling its sales (103%). The Mazda CX-30 also did very well with 5,955 units sold, an increase of 82.7% over the last six months. The Mazda CX-5, with 14,127 units sold, saw its sales increase by 53.4% and remained by far Mazda’s most popular model in 2021.
The Mazda3 did very well as well with 6,209 units sold, an increase of 17.4%. The Mazda6 and Mazda MX-5, meanwhile, saw their sales increase by 123.8% and 120.4% respectively.
